As
a wife, mother of two and a business owner, I understand how busy our
lives can be. My husband and I began this venture in 1992, under
extreme odds. Now, it is I that runs the business completely, from
adding products to the website to taking orders, packing and shipping.
I am just so glad that I have Fed Ex and UPS to deliver across the
country!! Although I have been known to deliver the local packages
myself. Occasionally my husband will help if he is needed and has the
time, but it is mostly myself that measures, orders and installs. I
enjoy the work (even the difficult jobs) because I like working with my
customers to give them a sense of enjoyment in the finished product.
The most unique jobs that I have done would be installing shades in Air
Traffic Control Towers on the East Coast. (7 ATCT's so far)
I want you to be able to buy custom shades and blinds, but at more
reasonable prices. I prefer to sell Hunter Douglas, Comfortex and Redi
Shade (The Perfect Temporary Shade), because of the quality of their
products and they stand behind their products.
I also sell Wood Blind Tassels, Cord Cleats, T-Handles, Roller Shade Pulls
and many, many other items that are so often hard to find in Home
Improvement stores. I am always looking for products that are needed,
but are difficult to find in hardware stores.
